Breakthrough mobile IT startup is a finalist in the Outstanding OSS/BSS Vendor category
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 20, 2016 — ItsOn, the leader of transformative SaaS solutions in the telecommunications industry, has been shortlisted for a Leading Lights Award in the “Outstanding OSS/BSS Vendor” category. This award recognizes industry leaders and innovators enabling modern mobile services.
The ItsOn platform is gaining recognition for its innovative cloud-client platform, which transforms mobile network operators across the globe into agile, cutting edge digital service providers. ItsOn’s technology virtualizes and automates key operator functions — billing, charging, rating, policy, activation, marketing and e-commerce — and provides an on-demand end-user experience complete with plan customization and contextual offers through an engaging client interface. No other solution on the market combines cloud-based software, on-device intelligence and a carrier-managed service creation environment to provide subscribers with such a personalized, responsive service experience.
“Major operators from all over the world are shifting their global business strategies to increase agility and flexibility in service,” said Robert Oberhofer, ItsOn’s vice president of technical and product marketing. “This nomination, and our recently announced deployments with Telefónica Mexico, MTN, and Saudi Telecom Company (STC), further validates the shift toward digital transformation in the mobile industry.”
The shortlisted nominees in each Leading Lights Award category were determined by a panel of established industry experts from hundreds of submissions. This year’s Leading Lights Awards attracted a record number of entries, according to Ray Le Maistre, editor-in-chief of Light Reading. The winners and identities of this year’s Light Reading Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at the Leading Lights awards dinner, Monday, May 23 at the Hotel Ella in Austin, Texas the night before Light Reading’s Big Communications Event.
